This is the Coordination Group working draft of Volume 2. This information has been approved by the MIL-HDBK-17 PMC Coordination Group, through 1 March 1998, and was submitted for the DOD Coordination Review in December 1998.  The latest released version of Volume 2 is available through DOD.  There is an annex to this volume containing information subject to export control requirements.  Comments on the document may be submitted to the handbook secretariat.  Previous versions as approved by the coordination group are in the archive.
